Top BAD news is that due to Graeme having a bit of idiot confusion, Crooked Dice will NOT be trading at this year’s Targe show in Kirriemuir, on Saturday 10th November. Neverthless, if you’re thinking about going, go. Graeme might host a very very small 7TV show in his own house that day. Also, one of the Crisis guys (hi Ruud!) pointed out that I promised him 7ombieTV free downloads, and that there were in fact none. That’s fixed – check out the bottom of the 7ombieTV Page for tokens, cards, templates and the whole DIY cabin in the woods in PDF.
November sees our biggest release of miniatures to date with nine different models.
We have: Misty, Zombie Hunter; Two Minion Specialist sets – Bazooka Team, Grenadier and Dog Handler; Three Coppers including one with Guard Dog; and finally the Guard Dog is available individually. All in store now!
This 7ombieTV supplement brings a UK twist and some minor misdemeanours to your favourite horror skirmish game. Play cannibal ghouls such as the twisted Number 11 or two new survivor casts – the Girls of St Searle’s or the vicious Borstal Boys. It’s 44 pages packed with:
- New weapons and rules for Ghoul casts; including a new Elder Ghoul Star and new Cannibal and Feral Child Extras
- Three new casts – the Girls of St Searle’s, The Borstal Boys and the ghoulish Number 11 – each with Cast Event Cards.
- Five episodes including a linked story with scenarios from Chris Viau and Mik Hollands
- A new Spawn deck to use with the episodes, but generally useful for random zed generation and solo games.
- A cardstock double decker from Wayne Peters
- Background on the Barron Pictures failed foray into UK teen horror market by archivist Helena Rodings!
- Cracking photography from Kevin Dallimore!
We’ll both be at Crisis in Antwerp on Saturday 3rd November, with our Crooked wares and the Fiddler’s Green demo table. Graeme’s travel arrangements from the frozen North mean any orders received after Wednesday 31st October will be processed on Monday 5th November.
We have noticed our website is not yet fully optimised for viewing on small screens – phones, tablets etc. The right hand side menus can disappear if you don’t have enough horizontal display size. This can make parts of our site more difficult to use, especially the Store. There IS a setting somewhere where we can alter this, once we find it, we’ll get it fixed. In the meantime, if you can all carry a desktop computer around with you wherever you go, that would be great.
Just a reminder to say that we will be at the SKELP Wargames show in Forfar on Saturday 20th with our current range of Crooked wares, plus a 2ft square demo table – now with Pandora King, X-Commandos, Minions and a Metalnaut. Ho ho…
There will also be the chance to see our new resin Talos and Argonaut miniatures, plus take a look at the Word version of next year’s 7TV spinoff, the Harryhausen inspired 7th Voyage.
In case you want to get all nostalgic, you can check out the old Crooked Dice website from the link here or on the right hand side. The Store PayPal buttons have been removed, and we’re not 100% certain that all the links will still work since we’ve moved all the HTML files to an archived location. Anyway, there you go.
Finally our new WordPress based Crooked Dice website is here and all working! This replaces our old hand-built site, and features state-of the art Store tags, categories and search abilities, as well as integrated posts and other modern things. There should be much the same amount of actual info through the site, so have a rummage. If you find anything broken, missing or generally totally inaccurate, please email us.
Note now DEALS are included with each set of miniatures. For example if you go look for Tweedy & May, you can purchase Tweedy, May OR the Deal from the same page.
To welcome you to the new site, we are pleased to give you 10% off all orders for a whole week! Simply put the code NEWDICESITE into the discount code part of the shopping cart to get it.
We had $6,000,000, we rebuilt it. 7TV explosively hits your screen again in a brilliant new edition. Faster! Stronger! More explosions! Get the boxed game or download it totally free – then it's "action!"
