Cheers guys, the picture was taken under my desk lamp so it has washed some of the layers out so they do look a bit better to the eye.

If I wasn't knee deep in Dr Who minis, I would be tempted to copy this. Excellent stuff

There are indeed, just a little conversion work on the bald one to remove a mace that wasn't in keeping with SG

I know how you feel, I'm drowning in Who miniatures (amongst many others) but I'll get back to them at some point.

I've completed the Goa'uld, first time doing this much dark skin but was happy with the results.  Again the layers in the white aren't visible in these photos but I'll take some better shots of everything once the project is completed.

What make and colours do you use for the dark skin. At some point I will need to paint my Martha Jones mini but I remember only too well the problems I had with the Leiutentant Green skin tones

The base is Vallejo Model Colour Flat Brown which I then wash with Army Painters black wash, then go back over with the flat brown and for the final highlights I added some of the old GW Elf Flesh.

Hi Phil,

Very neat and nice painting, The flesh tones are particularly good.

Cheers Phil. Have you looked at Dark Fable Miniatures. Lots of Egyptian figures. They have Egyptian children which could be used for the children in the SG film. May also be some System Lord minis.

Work on SG1 continues, I was going to put a light wash over the black areas to dull down the highlights but I don't think they look too bad now?
