That's very nice, Karl, I hadn't realised that she was wearing turn-ups on her jeans - amazing paint job.  I'm in awe

I have some painted Astronauts and Statues I will post, possibly later today. Similar to Karl's, but with the datapad a bit more modern.

"He had scurvy and rickets, and was covered from head to foot in festering sores. All in all he was quite the most ghastly apparition of a man I had ever seen."
"I see, and who exactly was this poor unfortunate?"

"That's you that is."

Citadel 3rd Doctor that I finished a month or so ago. Finally had a few moments with a camera to get a quick picture, which unfortunately isn't generous to the browns (which aren't spectacular anyway).

The old Citadel stuff really do have some exaggerated comedy poses going on.

They're miles better than the Black Tree/Harlequin ones, even if they are a head shorter and more exaggerated.

Dags has pulled out all the stops to paint Casual May - both as girl about town and in her alter ego as Samantha Starling, paranormal investigator.

And as Samantha Starling:

Hope you like them

I have to say, I was a bit dubious about it working for both characters, but it totally does. I'll probably get two to do both Amy and Sally now.

Cunning marketing bludgeons wins us another potential customer! What are you going to spend your half of our millions on Karl? I am going to purchase one of the Saturdays…

Finally matt varnished the lastest load – I use the Army Painters model dip on a few of them which gives a nice effect but ends with your lovely miniature all gloss varnished.

3 Scary Statues. The other 3 I have are going to get a more grey/brown base coat.

My ARC Astronauts. I find I can't get Melody looking like, well, err… Melody. But apart from that I like them. The suits are simply white with dip on top – I like that brownish 'lived in' Astronaut suit look. Amount of work to get – 2%. And I managed teeny tiny Union flags. My eyes…

The guy with the datapad has obviously been in contact with some time travelling aliens. I like tiny anachronisms. Didn't do his eyes on the grounds that it's quite tricky to get in there with a brush without getting eye all over the face.

Here are my latest miniatures

I must say I'm really, really impressed with the sculpting on these (no really).  While painting them I was reminded of painting Ral Partha miniatures in the 80s.  Anyone remember them?  The miniatures that is, not the 80s in general...
Most of the old figures I'm thinking of were sculpted by Tom Meier (if I had a godlike-genius award to bestow, he would be the recipient.  Hope I spelt his name right.)  Painting the angels' feathers and the female faces took me back about 30 years.  Time travel?  It'll never happen........
